The 2017 harvest was blessed with good grapes, and we aimed to create a delicate wine with a long finish, something we had been searching for for some time . The long-term aging in old barrels gives it a deep finish, and the seeds give it a light tannin flavor.
With its rich berry fruitiness and gentle, lingering tannins, we have created a Muscat Bailey A that can be described as a Japanese Pinot Noir .

I met Hide-san just as Zero Waste Kyoto was opening, and he shared this limited edition magnum bottle, bottled in 2021. This rare wine is from a micro-winery in Yamanashi Prefecture, with a total production of only 8,000 bottles.

An elegant Japanese red wine that has been aged to give it a mellow flavor.
