Plums that will make you healthy both physically and mentally
Additive-free plum paste made from plums grown in soil without pesticides or chemical fertilizers
Nakamoto-san of Nakamoto Farm in Wakayama Prefecture once had a frightening experience where he suddenly developed an allergic reaction the night after spraying pesticides on his plum orchard, so he decided that using such pesticides could not be good for either producers or consumers, and there was no way they could become healthy, so he switched to using pesticide-free crops.
If the plum trees themselves are healthy, they will be more resistant to pests and diseases, and they believe that they can be controlled without the use of pesticides using natural enemies, indigenous bacteria, garlic, chili pepper extracts, etc., so they have created soil that takes advantage of the natural circulation of the soil by growing the right crop in the right place. For fertilizer, they apply raw rice husks several times a year, and they have not sprayed pesticides since May 1998, and have not used chemical fertilizers since 1993. These are precious plums that Nakamoto says he wants to continue providing, so that people can eat plums as a health food with peace of mind and improve their physical and mental health.
It can be used as a filling for rice balls, or in plum soy bancha tea. You can also use it as a seasoning, adding a little sweetness from agave to make lily root with plum dressing. Try adding it to summer somen noodles with some condiments.
