Arame seaweed hand-harvested by fishermen on the island of Iki, surrounded by beautiful seas.

Among the remote islands of Shimane Prefecture, the spring arame from Nakamura area is particularly soft, and you can immediately tell the difference when you try it.

The sprouts are sun-dried, de-bittered, boiled, and then dried again, resulting in a very tender product that is easy to cook with.

How to rehydrate: Soak in cold or lukewarm water for about 20 minutes. Drain in a colander and rinse several times. Once drained, the prep is complete.

How to eat it:

●For 40 grams, fry in oil with 30cc of dark soy sauce, 15cc of light soy sauce, 15cc of mirin, 2 teaspoons of sugar, a little dashi, and a little water. Add sesame seeds, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, fried tofu, etc. to your liking to double the flavor.

Can be used as is for mixed rice, salads, etc.

● Arame seaweed dressed in plum vinegar is even more delicious when mixed with thinly sliced daikon radish marinated in turmeric.

One bag 40 grams

Unit price: 700 yen
