We made many prototypes to create a soap that is more suitable for shampooing, and finally created this. We created a recipe that lathers well but is also less likely to melt and crumble. We added cocoa butter and shea butter to create a luxurious, rich, and fine lather that is also moisturizing and suitable for washing your face.

Savonnerie de la Lune
Savonnerie de la Lune has a workshop in the naturally rich village of Yomitan in central Okinawa. The name, a combination of the French words "savonnerie," meaning "soap shop," and "lune," meaning "moon," is a reference to the approximately 30 days it takes to mature soap, which coincides with the waxing and waning of the moon.

Based on vegetable oils and fats, the soaps are made with Okinawan ingredients such as plant powders, plant-extracted essential oils, shekwasha (citrus fruit), shell ginger, kucha (mud), goat's milk, and herbs. Not only is it pleasant to use, but the appearance and scent will lift your spirits. We strive to create soaps that are safe for those with sensitive or dry skin, and aim to create products that are gentle enough to use on the entire body, from head to toe.
Cold process method that matures slowly without heating
We are particular about the ingredients, so each one is carefully made using the cold process method, which allows the ingredients to mature slowly and naturally without heating.
