A unique mustard that combines deliciousness and safety

ORIKASA Organic Mustard is the first 100% domestically produced mustard to receive organic certification in Japan. It took six years to bring it to market, pursuing the deliciousness that only Hokkaido farmers can offer. 13 varieties were test-grown, comparing their taste, spiciness, and umami, and ultimately blending three varieties to achieve the ideal flavor.

The yellow mustard flowers bloom in full bloom around July, filling the fields with a sweet floral fragrance, and then produce fruits about 1mm in size. Approximately 2,000 of these fruits are used to make one bottle.

The ingredients are organic mustard seeds, organic potato vinegar (made with "Sayaakane"), and natural sea salt. No artificial seasonings or preservatives are used. The salt content is about half that of imported products, bringing out the flavor of the ingredients.

We recommend using it as a substitute for wasabi with sashimi, and it also pairs well with fatty fish and meat products. Mustard made entirely from domestic ingredients is rare even in Japan, and Orikasa Farm practices sustainable agriculture, contributing to the SDGs.
