A natural sweetener made from the stems of the blue agave plant
This organic agave syrup is extracted from the blue agave , a succulent plant grown in the highlands of Mexico. It's 1.3 times sweeter than sugar, yet 20% less calories. It's a low-GI food, and has been gaining attention for its gradual absorption of carbohydrates and its reduced risk of weight gain. It contains no preservatives, flavorings, or additives.
Certified organic : No chemical fertilizers or pesticides are used. You can use it with confidence.
Low GI (glycemic index) : Causes a slower rise in blood sugar than sugar.
