Did you know that the composition of seawater is different on full moon days and new moon days? It is said that the tides caused by the gravitational pull of the moon affect the behavior of plankton and fish, causing the layers of seawater to change.

It was made using the traditional salt production method, "flowing salt fields."

The "flowing salt field" is a salt production method that was used from the late 1954 to around 1971. Seawater is dripped onto a bamboo rack, and the seawater flows down a flowing tray covered with small gravel. By circulating the water, the power of the sun and wind evaporates the water, increasing the salt concentration and allowing the salt to be harvested. The seawater, concentrated by the power of nature (sun and wind), is slowly boiled in a flat pot in the salt workshop.
