"Kyoto Ujitawara" Kiemon's Germinated Brown Rice Organic Miso Series
Utilizing our experience in organic farming, this miso is made using carefully selected organic ingredients that are free from pesticides and chemical fertilizers. It is naturally fermented and matures even while stored in the refrigerator, allowing you to enjoy the unique changes in taste, aroma, and depth of Kiemon miso.
Black soybean miso :
This black soybean miso is made with plenty of organic Shintanba black soybeans, combined with homemade organic rice and sun-dried salt. The miso makes the most of the rich, fragrant, and intense flavor of the Shintanba black soybeans. The natural fermentation process allows for a long enough time for the black soybeans to remain slightly whole.
White soybean miso:
This white soybean miso is made from organic white soybeans harvested from Kiemon's fields in Ujitawara-cho, Kyoto, and is made by combining carefully selected organic rice and sun-dried salt. With its mellow flavor and the unique aroma of soybeans, this white soybean miso shines brightly. It is naturally fermented to age.
